TRAVELS WITH MY DAUGHTER
We started our business by combining our names Avril and Cindy! Seven years later "avindy"
has given us the opportunity to combine our creativity,our desires for success and our
different ways of balancing hard work,fun and an appreciation for the family,customers and
artistic employees who support us every inch of the way!
Being twenty five years older than Cindy,working and travelling together would seem like a
tough endeavour!We have taken "avindy" from one end of the country to the other-big
towns,small towns,trunk shows,trade shows,through Cindy's two pregnancies,through breast
milk 'transportations' of all kinds,through endless telephone calls at all hours
instructing those babysitting at home.
In the precious free time we had after trade shows,we would browse in New Yorks trendiest
stores to observe the latest fashions. Nowadays we rush to sqeeze in a shopping spree at
FAO Schwartz-choosing the most loveable dinasour to take home for the boys-Dylan and Jonah.
We have shared endless hotel rooms,endless delicious dinners ,on the run breakfasts,cab
rides,pedicures and foot massages after a 10 hour work day,gem shopping in South Africa and
in Tuscon Arizona -befriending gem vendors from all over the world.
We combine our little dreams into big ones for avindy's future.We combine our enthusiasm so
that together we always appreciate the loyalty of our customers,the talents of the great
people that work with us in our studio and the joys our family members contribute to the
bigger picture.
Thank you everybody for allowing Cindy and I to continue making exciting combinations so
that our jewelery continues to evolve. avindy loves you and remember-wishes do come true!
